Iberdrola sells Romanian wind arm for 88 mln euro to Premier Energy

Iberdrola, a Spanish power utility, has sold its Romanian wind power subsidiary, Eolica Dobrogea One, to Premier Energy for €88 million. Eolica Dobrogea One, which has an installed capacity of 80 MW, will no longer be under Iberdrola as they exit Romanian assets. The acquisition was made through Premier Energy’s subsidiary, Premier Renewable Invest Co., owned by Czech investment group Emma Capital. Additionally, Premier Energy plans an IPO on the Bucharest Stock Exchange to raise funds for future growth.
