Iberdrola Australia is building a solar-plus-storage project, Broadsound Solar and Battery, in Queensland. The project includes 376MW of solar PV and a 180MW/260MWh battery energy storage system. Construction is set to begin in mid-2026 at Clarke Creek. CEO Ross Rolfe mentioned the project will add to the company's national assets.
