India's ReNew, SocGen form USD-1bn renewables partnership

Indian renewable energy firm ReNew Energy Global Plc signed a pact with French lender Societe Generale SA for up to USD 1 billion support to advance energy transition projects. The collaboration includes utility-scale projects like solar, wind, green hydrogen, and energy storage. ReNew is an independent power producer with a clean energy portfolio of around 15.6 GW.
