Indonesia to permit power wheeling

The government of Indonesia plans to introduce legislation to allow power wheeling, which will enable private companies to sell electricity directly using PLN's networks. The Institute for Essential Services Reform (IESR) supports this move to accelerate renewable energy development in Indonesia, improve electricity supply reliability, promote collaboration across business sectors, and aid decarbonization efforts.
