Ingeteam to supply inverters for 250-MW solar project in Spain

Spanish power conversion specialist Ingeteam will supply 70 inverters for a 250-MW solar project in southern Spain. The project, set in the desert of Tabernas in Almeria province, is developed by Grenergy Renovables. Ingeteam's INGECON SUN 3Power C series inverters will be part of a turnkey solution for the project, expected to generate 466.6 GWh of electricity annually. Amazon.com Inc and Grenergy signed a power purchase agreement for the solar farms in Spain. The project is set to start operations soon.
