Innergex commissions 35-MW BESS in Chile

Canadian company Innergex Renewable Energy Inc commissioned a 35-MW/175-MWh San Andres battery energy storage system in the Atacama Desert, Chile. The system will store excess solar power during the day and dispatch it during peak market hours. It is expected to generate annual revenues of USD 6-8 million.
