Inverted perovskite PV cell with silver thiocyanate HTL hits 16.66% efficiency

Researchers from CMRDI in Egypt have developed an inverted perovskite solar cell using AgSCN as a hole transport layer, demonstrating improved efficiency and stability compared to traditional materials like PEDOT:PSS and CuSCN. The new cell showed a power conversion efficiency of 16.66% and retained 80.9% efficiency after 500 hours of testing.
