Israel's Nofar begins construction of 26 MW of solar in Serbia

Nofar Energy Ltd has started the construction of a 26-MW solar farm complex named Ada in northern Serbia. The project, with an investment of EUR 25 million, will consist of two solar farms occupying 15 hectares each. The complex will be expanded to cover a total area of 116 hectares. Nofar has hired Girisim Elektric, a Turkish contractor, for the construction. Serbia has recently exceeded 100 MW of installed solar capacity, with plans to add five more solar plants, including Ada 1 and Ada 2, by the end of the year.
