Italian startup offers new bird-protection solution for rooftop PV

Italian startup Italgam Srl has developed a new bird-protection solution EVO 2.0 for rooftop PV systems. The solution consists of brushes between the backside of the panels and the roof. CEO Maurizio Chiacchierini mentioned the inspiration for the brush came from a gutter-cleaning brush in British Columbia, Canada. The EVO brush aims to prevent pigeons from nesting under panels and has knurled bristles for greater grip on surfaces.
