Italy bans solar on agricultural land

Italy has imposed a complete ban on ground-mounted solar PV projects on agricultural land, aiming to protect productive agricultural land. The ban has drawn criticism from the solar sector, with Italia Solare estimating a loss of €60 billion in investment and tax revenues.
