J-Power completes takeover of Australia’s Genex Power

Genex Power's diverse portfolio includes solar PV, wind, pumped hydro energy storage, and battery energy storage projects in Australia, such as the Bouldercombe BESS and Bulli Creek Clean Energy Park. J-Power completed its takeover of Genex Power in a deal worth AUS$351 million. The two companies were jointly developing projects like the 2GW solar-plus-storage project at Bulli Creek and the 200MW Kidston Stage-3 Wind Project in Queensland. After the takeover, Genex will apply for delisting from the Australian Securities Exchange.
