Koncar producing second generator for Austrian hydro power plant

Koncar Elektroindustrija is manufacturing a second generator for the Losenstein hydro power plant as part of a deal with Austrian power company Ennskraftwerke. The scope of work includes the design, manufacturing, and delivery of stators, rotor poles, excitation systems, spare parts, and special tools, along with the disassembly, assembly, and commissioning of the units. The contract envisions an increase in the generator capacity from 20 MVA to 22 MVA. Koncar has completed the assembly of the first generator, G1, and is working on the second generator, G2, expected to be completed by the end of October.
