Large-scale PV business still see growth in Italy

Leading PV developers have announced a number of new solar projects in Italy with a total capacity of 939 MW. Repsol, Comal, and Sonnedix are among the companies developing PV plants in regions like Puglia, Sardinia, and Lazio. Repsol is planning 825 MW of PV projects and 943 MW of wind power in Italy. Comal is set to build an 80 MW solar facility in Sardinia for Saras. Sonnedix has started construction of PV plants in Lazio with a capacity of 34 MW and has signed a PPA with Statkraft.
