London launches tender to install solar on Olympic stadium

London Stadium 185, the company managing the Olympic stadium at Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park in London, has initiated a tender for constructing a rooftop PV system. The project requires GBP 3 million investment and involves a 25-year maintenance agreement. Interested developers can submit proposals by July 24. The project announced by London Legacy Development Corp. will include a 'solar membrane' generating 3 million kWh per year.
