LONGi unveils heterojunction back-contact cell with record 27.3% conversion efficiency

LONGi, a major Chinese module producer, set a new record for power conversion efficiency for silicon heterojunction back-contact (HBC) cells. The record-breaking cell achieved 27.3% efficiency and was confirmed by Germany’s Institute for Solar Energy Research Hamelin (ISFH). LONGi also introduced the Hi-MO 9 series of modules with high power outputs and efficiency. The company aims to excel in power generation using their advanced technologies in tough environments.
