LONGi unveils heterojunction back-contact cell with record 27.3% conversion efficiency

LONGi, a major Chinese module producer, set a new record for power conversion efficiency for silicon heterojunction back-contact (HBC) cells at 27.3%. This achievement was confirmed by Germany’s Institute for Solar Energy Research Hamelin. The company also introduced the Hi-MO 9 series of modules, featuring high power outputs and a conversion efficiency of 24.42%.
