Luxcara confirms 1.5GW win in German auction

Luxcara's Waterekke Energy GmbH won a 1.5GW North Sea site in the latest German offshore wind auction. The site, N-9.3, is located in the German North Sea's Exclusive Economic Zone, 85 km northwest of the German island of Helgoland. The project is expected to be connected to the national transmission grid by 2029, focusing on qualitative criteria and green hydrogen production.
