Luxcara contracts Havfram for Waterkant turbine installation

Luxcara, a German clean energy asset manager, has contracted Havfram, a Norwegian offshore wind transport and installation firm, for the Waterkant offshore wind project in the German North Sea. The project involves 16 turbines supplied by Chinese manufacturer Ming Yang Smart Energy Group Ltd. Havfram will use their wind turbine installation vessel for the project, planned for spring 2028. The agreement expands Havfram's client portfolio, while German turbine makers are advocating for fair competition in the manufacturing industry.
