Mainstream, Someva win permit to study 500-MW wind project in NSW forest

Mainstream Renewable Power and Someva Renewables have secured a permit to investigate the possibility of installing a 500 MW wind farm in the Sunny Corner State Forest in New South Wales. The project is part of a joint venture called Sunny Corner JV and aims to utilize softwood timber plantations for renewable energy production in the region.
