Maxeon sues Aiko Solar for technology patent infringement in Germany

Maxeon Solar Technologies filed a patent infringement lawsuit against Aiko Solar and its European partners in Europe. The lawsuit was filed in the Düsseldorf Local Division of the Court of First Instance of Unified Patent Court (UPC). At the same time, Maxeon has also filed an appeal regarding a preliminary injunction decision in the Netherlands on its ongoing patent dispute with Aiko Solar. Maxeon has been involved in various patent infringement lawsuits with companies like REC Solar and Canadian Solar in the US. They are showcasing their residential home energy system at Intersolar Europe 2024.
