Meyer Burger starts module production in Arizona, secures 600MW PV supply

The heterojunction module assembly plant in Arizona will have an annual nameplate capacity of 2GW once fully operational. Meyer Burger, a Swiss-owned solar manufacturer, has started production at its HJT module assembly plant in Goodyear, Arizona. The plant passed an audit for the UL testing standards. Meyer Burger secured a three-year supply agreement with an undisclosed US energy company. Additionally, they signed supply agreements with German developer Baywa r.e. Meyer Burger is progressing in financing its US operations and has initiated a strategic partnership with an undisclosed US industry and technology company.
