Mingyang sets up wind turbine manufacturing JV in S Korea

Chinese wind turbine manufacturer Mingyang Smart Energy Group Ltd has formed a joint venture with South Korean sector player Unison to produce wind turbines in South Korea. Mingyang also announced the installation of its MySE18.X-20MW turbine, the world's largest single-capacity offshore wind turbine. Additionally, Mingyang signed an agreement to set up a wind turbine factory in Italy with Italian renewables group Renexia.
