Mobile agri-PV system protects young vines

A solar system in a special lightweight construction will protect a young vine plantation at Geisenheim University in Germany. The system combines viticulture and solar power generation, providing shade and protection against heavy rain and hail. The modules retract into a protective housing in windy conditions, designed for new plantings in dry and hot years to ensure climate resilience.
