A closed-end investment fund managed by Modus Asset Management has secured EUR 20 million in debt financing from Swedbank AS to support the construction of a 57-MW solar photovoltaic portfolio in Latvia. The portfolio consists of 10 separate projects, with the first projects expected to be completed in 2021 and the rest in early 2025. The solar parks will generate around 64 GWh of power annually, providing green electricity to over 30,000 households. The Clean Energy Infrastructure Fund, with a target size of EUR 200 million and a focus on solar PV and wind energy, invests in Baltic States, Poland, and Central European countries.
