Montea to add 56 MWh of BESS at Belgian, Dutch logistics sites

Belgian real estate investor Montea NV plans to spend EUR 30 million on equipping logistics sites in Belgium and the Netherlands with battery energy storage systems to reduce its reliance on the grid and have a lower ecological footprint. They will use the electricity from the batteries for lights, heating, cooling, and electric vehicles. Montea's operations have been carbon neutral since end-2021.
