Nanoparticles, phase-change materials in PVT systems

Researchers from Bangladesh and Australia explored hybrid nano-phase change materials (HNPCMs) for PVT applications. They used Al₂O₃ and ZnO nanoparticles in paraffin wax to enhance thermal conductivity. Experimental results showed improved thermal and electrical efficiency. They developed a prediction model and published the results in the study 'Characterization, optimization, and performance evaluation of PCM with Al₂O₃ and ZnO hybrid nanoparticles for photovoltaic thermal energy storage.'
