NatPower to hold public event on 1GW UK battery

NatPower UK is planning to launch a 1GW battery energy storage system at Teesworks in north-east England. The project includes a £1bn Teesside Gigapark facility with a capacity of 1000MW/4000MWh and a potential electric vehicle charging facility. NatPower UK is organizing a special open event on 26 June to provide details about the project.
