Naturgy commissions 50-MW solar farm in Seville

Naturgy Energy Group SA has commissioned a 50 MW solar photovoltaic plant in Andalusia, Spain. The plant features over 97,000 panels and is located in Villanueva del Rey. It is expected to generate approximately 111 GWh of electricity per year. Naturgy has other solar projects in development for the Seville area, with plans for a biomethane plant. The company has three operational solar farms in Andalusia and five wind farms, totaling 305 MW of renewables capacity in the region.
