Neoen cuts ribbon of 57.4-MW Swedish wind farm

French renewable energy company Neoen SA has opened a wind farm and a battery energy storage system in Sweden. The wind farm, Storbrannkullen, is expected to produce electricity for 30,000 homes. Neoen has signed power purchase agreements with Coveris and Equinix. Neoen has also inaugurated the Storen Power Reserve, a lithium-ion facility providing ancillary services to Swedish transmission system operator Svenska Kraftnat.
