Neoen, in collaboration with Tesla and UGL, has initiated the construction of Stage 2 of the Collie Battery project in Western Australia, awarded by AEMO. The project, to be connected to Western Power’s new Palmer Terminal substation, aims to manage energy demands and transition away from coal power. With a 300MW capacity for four hours, the operational start is expected in Q4 2025. This follows the successful contract for Stage 1, enhancing Neoen’s role as a key player in Australia's renewable energy sector.
