Netherlands approves grid fees for rooftop PV system owners

The Dutch Authority for Consumers and Markets (ACM) investigated the grid fees of four energy suppliers applied to residential PV system owners and concluded that the fees are legitimate. These fees depend on various factors and are not a source of profits for the suppliers. The ACM calls for improving the comparability of contracts for PV system owners. The Dutch solar market gained 4.82 GW of new PV capacity in 2023.
