Networking inverters and heat pumps

Kostal and Swedish manufacturer Nibe have launched a partnership to better network inverters and heat pumps. The Plenticore hybrid inverter from Kostal can be easily connected with Nibe's S-series heat pump via Wi-Fi for smooth communication. The software of the heat pump communicates with the inverter using a Modbus/TCP interface based on the Sunspec protocol to optimize solar power usage for efficient operation. Nibe's S series heat pumps use inverter technology to adjust output according to building requirements, maximizing efficiency and minimizing energy consumption for both heating and cooling purposes.
