Nevada partly covers peak demand with 690 MW solar-plus-storage project

The Gemini solar-plus-storage project outside of Las Vegas, Nevada, developed by Primergy and Quinbrook Infrastructure Partners, is now operational with 1.8 million solar panels generating up to 690 MW and 380 MW of four-hour battery energy storage. The project emphasizes ecosystem management, job creation, and local community engagement. Primergy used Maxeon Solar Technologies modules and selected Kiewit Power Constructors for engineering and construction.
