New chief executive to take REA helm

The REA has appointed Trevor Hutchings as its new chief executive to succeed Nina Skorupska. Hutchings aims to prioritize the energy transition and net zero goals. He was previously partner for sustainability at BIP and chair of the Green Purposes Company. The REA urges UK political parties to support sustainable energy growth and net zero carbon emissions targets.
