New South Wales clears 100-MW solar project with BESS

Planning regulators in New South Wales approved a 100-MW solar park project with a 45 MW/90 MWh battery storage component. The Wallaroo solar farm in Yass Valley will contribute to the state and national energy transition, reducing emissions from electricity generation. Construction works are expected to take 18 months.
