Nextracker acquires HK-based solar farm piling provider SPI

US solar tracker manufacturer Nextracker Inc acquired Hong Kong-headquartered Solar Pile International for approximately USD 48 million. SPI specializes in piling solutions for ground-mounted solar farms in challenging soil conditions. Nextracker also acquired Ojjo Inc to enhance capabilities in installing solar panels. CEO Daniel Shugar highlighted the technological expertise gained from the acquisitions to tackle geologically challenging sites.
