NeXtWind grows repowering portfolio to 1GW

NeXtWind, a developer specializing in repowering, has expanded its portfolio of projects in Germany to 1GW by acquiring additional wind farms, optimizing existing sites, and technologically advancing turbines. The company plans to reach 3GW by 2028 and focuses on replacing outdated turbines with more efficient ones while working closely with local communities. NeXtWind raised $750m from institutional investors in 2023 for rapid growth.
