Nhoa turns sod on 50-MWh Italian battery project for ERG

Nhoa Energy, a unit of Nhoa Group, is installing a 50-MWh battery energy storage system in Italy for ERG SpA. The battery will be located in Vicari, Sicily, supporting an existing wind park. Italy aims for 71 GWh of grid-scale battery storage by 2030 under the Fit-for-55 EU framework.
