NORD/LB, Swedbank grant EUR 87m for Estonian wind farm

German lender Nord/LB and Swedbank Estonia provide EUR 87 million financing for the 75-MW Aidu wind farm project in Estonia. The project is equally owned by the Sonajalg family and Dirkshof. The wind farm began producing electricity in June 2024, supporting Estonia's goal of increasing renewable energy share to at least 42% by 2030 as per NECP 2030.
