Nordex to supply 6.8-MW turbines for 68-MW German wind project

German wind turbine maker Nordex SE received an order from renewables developer UKA to equip the 68-MW Mahlsdorf wind farm in Brandenburg. The contract includes ten 6.8-MW turbines with hub heights of 179 meters. Nordex surpassed 10 GW in Germany and 70 GW globally since its founding in 1985. The turbines will be installed on hybrid towers and commissioned in 2025. UKA, a repeat customer, will build the wind farm in a forest location.
