North Rhine-Westphalia takes steps to speed up hydrogen ramp-up

North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany's largest steel and chemical hub, is accelerating the hydrogen ramp-up with plans to reach 127 to 177 TWh by 2045. The state's economy ministry presented a strategy focusing on market transparency, hydrogen import chains, and green hydrogen quotas.
