North Star names European renewables lead

North Star has appointed Bruno Bartel as its new European renewables lead. Bartel, with almost nine years’ experience in vessel chartering in Germany, will focus on advancing North Star's strategic growth objectives in Europe's offshore wind market. With his role as the primary contact for European clients outside of UK waters, Bartel will help North Star leverage the growing offshore wind opportunities. Additionally, Bartel will assist North Star’s HR team with local recruitment. The company has secured a newbuild contract for its first SOV to be deployed off the coast of Germany at EnBW’s 960MW He Dreiht wind farm.
