Octopus acquires Exagen

Octopus Energy Generation has acquired a 100% shareholding in UK renewables developer Exagen from founder Jeremy Littman. The acquisition will accelerate the buildout of over 2.4GW of solar and energy storage projects in England. This acquisition is on behalf of the Octopus Energy Development Partnership (OEDP) fund. Exagen has secured planning consent for standalone battery storage projects and aims to meet the UK's renewable energy targets by 2035.
