Octopus Energy to invest GBP 2 billion in clean energy projects in the UK by 2030. They sealed a deal on four new solar farms developed by BayWa r.e. AG. The solar farms will have a combined capacity of 222 MW and an additional 30 MW battery facility. Octopus also constructing a 12 MW battery in Cheshire. In total, Octopus supports various renewable energy projects in Britain including wind farms, battery projects, solar farms, and rooftop solar projects. They acquired Exagen and are actively applying for new wind turbines.
