Octopus to invest £2bn in UK renewables

Octopus Energy Generation has pledged to invest £2bn into UK clean energy projects, including solar and onshore wind farms by 2030. BayWa r.e. is developing four new solar farms in Bristol, Essex, East Riding of Yorkshire, and Wiltshire. They are also managing solar assets and construction under an EPC arrangement. Christine McGregor, MD at BayWa r.e., expresses excitement about the partnership with Octopus. Octopus Energy Generation's CEO Zoisa North-Bond highlights the significant investment in homegrown renewables and the green energy revolution.
