Scientists at the University of Murcia have developed Climax, an open-source tool that utilizes the synergy between wind and PV to reduce variability in their combined production. By strategically locating facilities where solar and wind resources complement each other, they aim to achieve greater efficiency and reduce electricity production anomalies by up to 60%.
