Orbital to build tidal turbines for CfD-backed projects in Nigg

Orbital Marine Power, a Scottish developer of floating tidal stream turbine technology, selects Global Energy Group to manufacture and assemble turbines for Orkney projects supported by UK government contracts. Projects to utilize CfDs from fourth and fifth allocation rounds. Production to begin in 2024 at Port of Nigg for delivery in 2026.
