ORE Catapult selects blade test contractors

ORE Catapult has identified two companies as preferred contractors to support the development of its new blade testing and upgraded drive train testing facilities. IDOM will construct a new blade test facility exceeding IEC61400-23 standards, while RENK Group will lead the installation of a new test rig at the drive train facility increasing capacity from 15MW to 23MW. Both capabilities will be expanded to meet future industry demand.
