Orsted takes FID on Hornsea 3 BESS

Orsted has made the final investment decision on a 300MW battery energy storage system to be installed at the site of the Hornsea 3 Offshore Wind Farm in Norfolk, England. The system will help balance the grid, reduce price volatility, and improve energy security. Duncan Clark from Orsted and Mike Snyder from Tesla are key figures in this project.
