Oxford PV sets 28.6% efficiency record for full-size tandem cell

Oxford PV has set a new world record efficiency for a large-sized perovskite-silicon tandem cell. Chris Case, Chief Technology Officer, mentioned the achievement of 28.6% efficiency. Oxford PV, founded in 2010 as a spinoff of Oxford University, achieved the milestone in Germany. The company continues to focus on commercialization efforts. David Ward, Chief Executive Officer, emphasized the progress made in 2023 towards improving commercial-sized cells.
